Heartcode PALS Description
The American Heart Association Heartcode (eLearning) course consists of an online course and classroom based skills testing. If you are not an experienced provider you must take the full initial course


Is your PALS card still current
You must bring your current PALS and BLS card to class.


Important - Day of Class
You must print out the PALS eLearning certificate and bring with you to class. If you do not bring in this document, you cannot attend the skills testing. You do not need to bring in a book, since your online course contains the PALS book information.

Heartcode PALS Course has two components and  you will receive your AHA certification card at the end of your Skills Check!

This course has 2 components: an online portion and an instructor-led classroom portion.

Component 1:


  1. Purchase your online portion https://shopcpr.heart.org/heartcode-pals and select: Heartcode PALS Part 1 $144
  2. Complete the online course at your own pace.
  3. Upon completion of your online course, be sure to print out your certificate of completion.

Component 2:
  1. To schedule your hands-on skills session click HERE and select PALS Heart Code Skills Check (2nd part of blended learning PALS course)  $70
  2. Bring your certificate of completion and your current PALS and BLS certification card. If your card is not current you will not be allowed to attend the course!

For a refund, contact us 48 hours or more before your class starts.
If canceling less than 48 hours, we are happy to issue a credit for the amount you paid for one year towards future classes.


The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in BLS, ACLS, and PALS, and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the American Heart Association, and any fees charged for such a course do not represent income to the Association.
